If I have a 1600 watt electrical converter for international travel, will it work on lower wattage appliances?

I just bought a 1600 watt converter before I had any idea what that even meant, and I'm not sure if it'll run lower wattage items such as my razor or cell phone charger. I really only need it for my razor, will it work with that, or do I need a low wattage converter?
