Getting around London....?

I will be travelling to London in June and wanted to know the best way to get around and what I can expect to pay. Also, is there a way to purchase multi day metro passes to have before I get there?

Agreed! the subway system is one of the best in the world. The tube tickets are actually divided on zones, cetral london is in zone 1 and is the most expensive.
You can get monthly as well as weekly tube passes when u reach there, they need your signature and a Passport size photograph for the monthly passes, so incase you plan to be there for so long you can get one for zone 1-6, which covers the entire london. Also the tube passes are also valid on buses so the whole thing becomes very economical.
