Relocating to Aberdeen from Houston, TX USA - Need cost of living info? |
Travel Info My wife and I will be moving to Aberdeen along with an infant in September of this year. I'm looking for information on cost of living, especially how it might compare to our current location in Texas. Also interested in finding out some areas to look for a house to let, somewhere near rail station/public transportation, preferably in an area with some historic charm (not a new housing development - if we wanted the 'burbs we'd stay in Houston!). Travel Tips 2 bedroom flat to let - 拢500 - 拢850 3 bedroom flat to let - 拢900.00-拢1500.00 ($1,800 - $3,000 a month) Council tax will be at least 拢150 a month Gas - 拢50 - 拢75 per month Electric - 拢60 Food - 拢125 per person per month Fuel for Car - currently 拢3.50 per gallon (about 拢120 a month.
