Travel Info My wife and I are going to Acapulco April 11-16,2007....How Thick is the Spring Break crowd during said date? Travel Tips Cacun is the beach in mexico.I hope you change your mind. Others You should be fine, Acapulco tourism isn't at it's best right now, not to put a damper on your holiday but alot has gone on it the past year that alot of people are chosing Cancun or Los Cabos or Puerto Vallarta over Acapulco. Theirs alot going on in acapulco right now,the mexican military is their,their is feuding between the drug cartels and the police,thats y they brought in the military..the military is all over the city...its safer!!! Sorry for trying to scare u but the problems going on in acapulco or the state of guererro is between the government and the cartels...they... the cartels dont bother the people..or tourists!! And about it being thick with people...probably...college kids dont care whats going on in Acapulco they just want to drink and party...so ...yeah it will be packed!!! O,if u go,dont worry about the government military taking your money...worry about the police,dont know if your renting a car or walking around..if your walking or getting the bus...dont even worry about the police!! Have fun and hopefully didnt scare u away!! Reliable info...have been all over mexico,know the pros and cons...let me know if u need any more info!! there are tons of people there I suggest you get reserve your hotel and get your plane ticket now! I hope you have a nice time its a great place and very fun. |
