Travel Info Convoy for kids adelaide 2007? Travel Tips Every year the Coles Convoy for Kids takes hundreds of children with disabilities on the 鈥榬ide of a lifetime鈥?around the streets of Adelaide. You are invited to join us on Sunday 20 May for the 15th anniversary Convoy, which is guaranteed to be the biggest and best Convoy yet! This year鈥檚 event is returning to the Distinctive Homes Dome at Findon, which will once again be the starting point for the Convoy and the home of the Convoy Carnival 鈥?a free family fun day featuring rides, games, face-painting, live entertainment, lots of celebrities and hundreds of big, bright trucks. The fun starts at 8.30am on Sunday 20 May 2007, and boasts the biggest line-up of activities to date, including: more than 400 trucks live entertainment celebrities face-painting rides food and drinks a major charity auction. At 10.30am, South Australia鈥檚 big-hearted truckies will take centre stage, as they buckle in their little passengers, honk their horns and head off on a bright and beautiful convoy around the streets of Adelaide. The food, fun and family entertainment will continue right throughout the day. If you can't make it to the Distinctive Homes Dome, be sure to catch all the action and wave the kids on their way as they pass along the streets of Adelaide. ------------------------------...
