It is breathtakingly beautiful, and at the same time can show you some of the ugliest sights. The people are warm and friendly, yet others will try and rip you off however they can. Travelling in India is the best experience because any country you travel to after that seems easy! It is a challenge to get from A to B (even if B is only a couple of miles down the road from A), but your efforts to see the country are rewarded with the most amazing scenery, buildings, people, animals, religions etc! There will be times when you hate the place and the people who seem to be doing all they can to annoy you on long train journeys, or at shops and in guesthouses etc. But I bet you, as soon as you leave, you'll be longing to go back and let India happen to you all over again. |
