How much liquid allowed now in airports? |
Travel Info On saturday, march 31, I'm going to california to visit family there. I'm going to go to Newark Liberty International Airport. I got my ears pierced not too long ago and I think I should bring the liquid antiseptic with me. Does anyone know how much liquid is allowed in airports these days? Travel Tips Hi there, The current rules regarding liquids passing through security (and onto a plane) are as follows: -Each liquid container must be no larger than 3.4oz (100ml) -ALL of the bottles/containers must fit in ONE re-sealable Ziploc style ONE QUART bag. -You may only have ONE of these bags If all you are bringing is the antiseptic for your piercings then you can use a small sandwich size ziploc bag if you wish (assuming the bottle fits in it). Hope that helps. Have a safe trip! Source(s): http://www.tsa.gov/311/index.shtm... http://www.united.com/page/article/0,672... Other Travel Tips I believe it's 3 oz. Bottles in the small sandwich size clear ziplock bags, one per person. Containers must be 3.4 oz or less (100 mL) and they must fit in a 1 quart (1 L) bag. It's a little bigger than a sandwich bag. Once through security, you can buy whatever you like and bring it on the plane. 100ml limit for liquids, aerosols and gels in hand luggage. http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp... Call the airline on which you will travel. |
