Help me find cheap airfare to Bari, Italy!? |
Travel Info I am going for 3 months and unfortunately in high season. I am travelling in July and not coming back until Oct., so when would be a good time for me to book? I usually book 3 months ahead, but always get burned because a month later the fare goes down, so I tried it last year (to book later), but no luck finding a seat. So all you travel agents out there could you help me out? Also one more thing I am travelling with my 2 yr. old and 6 month old. I am travelling from Chicago. Help! Travel Tips With 2 wee-uns in tow, the best would probably be only 1 connection. Unfortunately, that's not always cheapest.... I see $1331 USD roundtrip outbound July with a 3 month stay. This is USAirways connecting at Philly and Milan each way. Alitalia is at $1577, but with only 1 connection each way at Milan. These are adult fares. Child discount does apply. Since you've got little ones in-tow, I'm not going to suggest breaking this trip on 2 tickets (often cheaper, but a real headache if something goes awry, like late flights). I checked some airfare consolidators, too, but I don't see anything better than these 2 ($1331, $1577). Best to book direct from the airline. ---------- updated I noticed the next answer claims a fare in the $900s. I tried it, it's nowhere to be found CHI-BRI July out/ Oct return. But it does show a $1351 with only 1 connection via Milan... and that, I think, is the winner. Maybe CheapO can post which dates he found that fare in the $900s? What I can suggest you is look for direct flight...The best fare which I can see is $912.96 - including tax and fees and its a direct flight too...I got this fare from cheapoair.com - It starts from Chicago OHare to Bari - non stop...I think its a great offer to have it...what do you think...
