Spice jet- I put a wrong spelling on a booking, will they accept the e ticket? |
Travel Info I typed a friends firstname on an internet booking as jamie, but it should have been james. I have informed them of the error and have had just an automated reply. Do you believe they will allow travel???? Also, I need to book a train from Goa to Delhi to arrive on sunday 15th april sometime. can anyone offer some advice on booking it as i do not know the train numbers names or station names, and can't work out how top correctly use the website. thanks all Travel Tips Well, Spicejet ticket are E-Ticket only, so they need the photo Identity Proof at the time of Boarding Pass. There is a chance of having some problem during that process. Further, you can plan you trip and book the Railway ticket through www.irctc.co.in. You must have debit or credit card for the payment. Others I'm having the same problem with Delta (see "Misspelled name in the international airline ticket?" link below). Airlines don't seem to be willing to help their poor clients in such cases. I'm working hard to solve this problem for third day already, and still have no option than to cross my fingers and hope that check-in men will be able to understand that, in your case, Jamie and James is the same. Not accept the ticket because you have to book by internet. because the identity may produce at the travelling time |
