Travel Info What redress does an air line ticket holder have if the flight is canceled or delayed for a couple of hours.? Travel Tips None, as long as you arrive to a commonrated airport within 4 hours of your originally scheduled arrival time. *commonrated = airports serving the same city or close geographical area. For example, LaGuardia, Newark, and JFK Airports are "commonrated" as NYC; Stansted, Heathrow, Gatwick, City, and Luton are commonrated as LON. Others Usually none. Not much. There are many factors that go into getting a flight out on time and if one of those factors are off you will be delayed. The airline industry is very unpredictable and anything can happen to cause you be delayed for a couple of hourse. Honestly I don't think a couple of hours is that big of a deal. As long as you get to your destination the airline has met the agreement of travel for the passenger. I've seeneen people not be able to get out a couple of days on a flight during really bad weather times. |
