Travel Info Hey guys im going to Kyrgyzstan, and the flight will be 10 hours, and then i will have to wait at the airport for 10 hours straight, and then i will have another flight for 4 hours, thats 24 hours!! Travel Tips A lot of Snacks some Books and a Pillow Others I would be taking a BED a laptop, iPod, a pillow, snacks, a book, iPod, magazines, money for random things,a laptop, blackberry! Most of the above [your blackberry may not work depending on the system and its chip - ask someone], plus *aspirin, *special meds, *comfortable shoes that slip on easily, *pen and paper, a puzzle book?, *small change to buy stuff or tip, *light jacket 'cuz it always gets chilly either on the plane or when you try to sleep. *tissue paper for the bathroom (*always* have some when you travel - just in case); some people like to carry hand sanitizer but it might not be allowed May need a voltage converter when you get there but many modern electronics can use either 110V or 220V - check your stuff before you go. I prefer the little blow-up neck pillow for sleeping on the plane - if you sleep in the airport, put your feet on your luggage or try to have someone help you watch it. > camera and chip or film - people usually don't mind taking photos but some of the previous Russian states (the xxx-istans) might not like it - ask first]. |
