What's the worst airline you've travelled with and why? |
Travel Info Personal experiences only please. Travel Tips Ryanair. Where do I start ? They treat you like sh*t, fly the planes when they feel like it, will never compensate you for late or cancelled flights, pay their staff badly, charge high prices for low quality "refreshments" and are always trying to sell you overprices airport dross. Never again. Never. Others BA, they have gone so down hill on European flights. You get a cheap sub roll and they charge loads for their flights. Air France, (air chance) almost a 100% chance they will loose your luggage! Personal experience 'Snowflake' it was part of the Star Alliance group, back home to London from Copenhagen. We arrived early and the plane was being filled from the back, we got back seats, which just happened to be right next to the noisiest engines I've ever heard! We were sat right next to each other but had to literally shout to be heard, my ears were ringing for days after that!! Air malawi. As the (old) aircraft thundered down the runway, bits started shaking off within the cabin, which did little to inspire confidence. Worst food? British World Airlines. Flying from Preveza (Greece) to Manchester, the inflight meal? An orange!! Best airline food i've ever had? Believe it or not, Ethiopian Airlines. I was expecting a Band Aid death ration and got a lovely peppered steak with all the trimmings.Mmmm, I can still taste it now! Best in general, the now sadly defunct Swissair. Brilliant.
