How can i make my kids sleep on the plane? |
Travel Info I will flay with my 3 kids on plane for 8 or 9 hour is there any whey to make them sleep most of the time in the plane? I will brig with me there toys and food and other stuff to let them spend some of the time but still there a lot of time will left what can I do? Benadryl give them some valium I fly with my three kids to the U.S. about every 6 months. That's an 11 1/2 hour flight for us. Personally, I think they will sleep regardless. I was a Flight Attendant on international flights for 13 years, most kids will sleep at least part of it. Going through check-in, security and possibly immigration can be tiring! Depending on your arrival time and time difference, you may not *want* them to sleep the whole time. I never drug mine because of a history of problems with antihistimes in the famly. I've seen parents do and it can work. It can also backfire. Twice I saw kids get the *opposite* reaction. Luckily I never saw a child passed out without a pulse, as I did when my parents gave bendryl to me for a cold once. Even though you buy it over the counter doesn't mean that it's harmless. Talk to your pediatrician and try it at home first. Remember that all drugs (including alchohol) are stronger at altitude.
