Flying with makeup? |
Travel Info can u bring make up on tthe plane, in the seat where you are sitting (being polite) i am being tol;d it has to be in a freezer bag , is that right , help im flying tomorrow. Travel Tips 100ml on liquid in any given european country only thatthe guide more strict in uk though, from greece brought back 250ml of vaseline Others hiya there yeah it has to be in a freezer bag or clear plastic bag and your only allowed 100mls of make up. this shocked me because apparently lip balm counts so solids count as mls too anything over the 100mls you need to put in the case or they wil take it off you have a great holiday!! recently contacted the airport with the same question Any liquid you have has to be under 100 ml and can fit into a small see through bag! (can be more than one item as long as each is under 100ml and fits into bag) I flew out to see my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago - I hadnt seen him in two months and I looked awful when I got there as I had put all my make up in my suitcase!!!! No a quart sized ziploc is best. Get the smallest stuf u need in original bottles. Mascara, a remover or just a couple pads u may want to remove and re apply. A small Maybelle pencil, or one black. one lt brown for brows. Forget the tweezers or the eyelash curler. Just enough for a fresh look. Powder, a small blush that works as blush, lids and even lips. I would opt for a third pencil for lip color. NO sharpener. Blistex or chapstick in the wrapped package just declare it as you go thru and expect to lose it, buy one at the airport and their water. So much for cheap fares. They get you on luggage and now this but security is important. It was not when I flew. Basics. Have a great flight and trip. Be sure u watch the safety demos. If ever on take off or tanding u feel a plane shudder or abnormal noise/movement just go as if you are looking into your carry on below your seat. You will be in the first brace position if anything goes wrong. I wear comfy shoes and be sure those around you have their stuff stowed. Overheads closed both sides of you. Projectiles are the worst problems in an incident. Now that u are scared of no make up, security searching you and padding u down and a crash... have a fine time :) Seriously, most important is to stay in touch. You did. Great job. Thanks. I worked as, was a International Service Manager and then an Inflight Trainer for Flight Attendants. I know of which I speak. (Went home to Hawaii last year and was shocked at crews who do not do customer service??? Yea, leave them be if u can they are a disgruntled bunch these guys sad to say) you have to put all liquids in a clear bag and be no more than a certain amount that sorry I can not remember. I had to put my perfume, foundation, mascara and lip gloss in a clear bag hope this helps should be able to, just keep it to an absolute minimum and put whatever you can in with your luggage in the hold. could you not just put your make up on before or after you fly? i don't know if this helps but i flew glasgow > london a few weeks back and wasn't asked to put any liquids in a clear plastic bag - i have saline drops for my contact lenses that i have to keep with me at all times, and i was only asked to put my belt and whole bag on the usual tray and through the scanner - no separating out of liquids. |
