nothing its just the biggest carpark in the UK
The first thing is that the people there can spell "what's" and "about".

Full of great pubs, museums, great pubs, galleries, great pubs ..... did I mention the pubs?

EDIT: I love the people answering who know nothing about London ..............

The Beatles & Stonehenge (hmmmm great geography there, one from Liverpool the other on Salisbury Plain) and Hide Park ... It's HYDE ...

No good food ..... The Ivy, J Sheeky, Gordon Ramsay (all 3 restaurants), China Garden, Petrus, Terra, Pasha, Maze ... I could go on and on
There's a lot of historical sites, markets, shops ... Lots of cultures. Wonderful architecture.

The food sucks we'll just state that now.
Living in London
Just the idea of it NOT being another place in America, and because most likely you will go there as a tourist, the accents and food might seem to be more a big deal than normal just because it's over seas, so really it's all just in peoples mind.
when its exactly like going to a different region in the States: you talk different in different regions, eat different food, styles of houses may be different, attitudes are different, places to go are different
its just that people think London is better because it is not in America and it makes you sound cool when you say "I've been there before." dont ask why it does but it does.
