For flyer's, How do you find the cheapest tickets on airlines? |
Travel Info I am just beginning to use airlines and I know there has to be ways of finding cheaper ticket. Can you share your secrets? I need all the help I can get. THANKS THANKS!!! Travel Tips 1. Be as flexible as possible--both with cities and dates. 2. Know which airlines are on a route, and realize that many of the new low-cost airlines can only be booked via their own website--and can NOT be booked via Orbitz, Kayak, Ebookers, et. al. For example, from New York to LA, search with "NYC" to include all area airports. Instead of LAX, also search ONT, BUR, SNA, and LGB -- smaller airports becoming more popular for low-cost airlines. Others I like the website http://www.kayak.com/ to find the best fares as it searches all the other websites. |
