Will the airport security allow me through if i have metal expanders? (for teeth)? |
Travel Info PLEASE ANSWER!!! im leaving in 3 days!!!!!! Travel Tips Yes they will, you won't have a problem and I doubt you will even alarm through the walk-through metal detector. If you take off any metal on you besides the ones on your teeth you should not have enough metal to set of the metal detector. Even if you do, you will go through additional screening with a hand held metal detector to clear you. You shouldn't worry they do this everyday, or to be clear I do this everyday. People go through everyday with all kinds of metal implants, crutches, braces, and even pace makers, so we have procedures to clear them. You'll be ok. You're not the first person in the world to have metal expanders and go through an airport. It's not like they're not going to let you on the plane. ya Yeah, why wouldn't they? |
