Who else thinks festivals rip you off? |
Travel Info I'm talking about the big ones. reading and leeds are something like 拢145 download was about 拢140 what was glastonbury? The ticket prices are so expensive. Once youpay for booking fee, travel and food/drink there your penniless. Thats if you can afford it in the first place. Just noticed im waffling so if you know of any cheaper and enjoyable fest's than please inform me =] Travel Tips im going to the Lowlands festival in Holland... great value for money.. Ticket: 125 euro (3 day festival, incl. camping with tent, parking, shuttle bus, excl. service costs). and the beer is soooo cheap.. ;o) They could show a thing or two to the British festival planners... Others It's a joke you get ripped off when you buy your ticket with the booking fee on top then often you can't take your own food or drink then you pay through the nose once your inside for everything.. 拢5 a pop on rides! I have to disagree after the last 2 single gigs I went to. One cost U2 at 拢79 for best seats and the other Muse 拢38 standard. These were single events - how many bands do you see at a festival. Plus I paid for hotels for both concerts. Next year I'm going camping at Glastonbury! |
