The EU has just ratified an agreement with the USA do you agree with it?

Travel Info
The deal allows the USA to demand up to 34 pieces of information from passengers flying to the USA. This information has to be transmitted before the plane takes off. No information about even one passenger and the plane can't land at an American airport.

See the story below to see what can be found out about you it's scary.

No I don't agree with it, that's why I no longer travel to the US. I've been many times in the past, and loved it. I like Americans too, but they no longer like us, which is sad. They treat foreigners with fear and contempt, and as there are so many other wonderful countries in the world - why bother with them any more ?

The previous answerers illustrate my point perfectly

ALOPILOT is wrong. I had to stop at Dallas Fort Worth (was volunteering in Mexico, can't get there without a US stop) and the US customs were horrible. As a 60 yr old white english woman, I'm obviously a suspect, but the harshness, the rudeness, the sheer hatred we all experienced was in stark contrast to the friendliness of the underprivileged Mexicans with whom I worked. The US thinks it's protecting itself, but it is simply making the rest of the world despise and avoid it.

yeah yyou should wait in line for a plane over here (USA)
Sounds good to me.
Like it or not that is what has been agreed.

You do have a choice. Don't go to the USA and it will not effect you.

In the present climate of fear from terrorist attack there are a great many rules and regulations that are being applied.

The open border policy that many advocate only helps those who would do you harm.

As for the transfer of information (which you can do nothing about) if you are innocent you have nothing to worry about.
Here is the way I look at it... hundreds of thousands of people will still fly to the USA... Of these hundreds of thousands, 99.99% of them have nothing to hide, myself included... when the US recieves this report, they are not going to spend a great deal of time looking over your records if you have nothing to hide... now, if you are a fellon, or are a suspected terrorist, you may have some questions to answer... anyway, passengers wont see any change in service and I dont see why you would worry about it...
