If You're A Minor and Your Flight Is Cancelled? |
Travel Info I was supposed to take a flight and I didnt (personal reasons cancelled it), but the airline cancelled it before it departed my hometown airport. I would have had a connecting flight, to an international location, that I would have missed. What would the airline have done? Travel Tips If you are a minor, you are supposed to have a parent or guardian with you until you board the airplane, and that person has to stay at the airport until your flight takes off. If your flight is cancelled, then your parent or guardian would work with them to reschedule you on a later flight. Others depending on the airline, they would have found another flight for you to take. Or they would cancel all connecting flights associated with your trip. I was not happy! This was some years ago and it was a conecting flight so there was no possibility of a parent or guardian being there to be with her. most likely put you on the next departing flight towards your location. someairline will get you on another flight to avoid sending a minor to a hotel , as most hotels will not give rooms to minors unless the airline can send an employee with the minor ( unlikely , but it did happen) |
