Have you ever been on a plane that felt it was going to fall to pieces? |
Travel Info I recall travelling to LA once from New York City. We had to stop off in Phoenix first. The plane was experiencing so mcuh turbulence that it felt like it would crack in the middle like an egg and we would all fall out and it crinkled away like flakes. Travel Tips My worse experience was on Continental Airlines over the Carribean on a return flight from Cuba to Miami. Plane suddenly fell about 10-20 feet then there was a "boom" sound and the plane shook. Scary. My guess is the plane hit a vacuum area and lost lift. Think Burmuda Triangle! Source(s): On a jet plane Other Travel Tips no I have never ridden a plane and after i finished reading your question i don't think i ever will Turbulance is not much of a danger to airplanes, airplanes are made to be put into ALOT of stress more than most pilots will ever encounter in their flying lives. Airplanes can handle alot. Planes dont just fall apart for no reason because of turbulance. |
