Has anyone had trouble with club 18 - 30 reps? |
Travel Info My daughter is in Ibiza and due to come home today. Ibiza airport had to be evacuated yesterday because of a bomb scare and she is supposed to flying home to Glasgow this morning! She had to get reps phone no. from hotel and all rep could say was don't worry things will be back to normal tomorrow! She tried to speak to another two reps later on - one had gone to bed and the other had gone on a night out. She's been left to try and find things out for herself, in fact she knew more about the situation than the reps did ( by turning a tv on! ). Are they all like this? I understand we all need rest and recreation but in the middle of bomb scares and flight crises? Travel Tips Not all reps are the same, I've been on holiday with a few different compaines 18-30 are by far the worst company where reps are concerned Others 18-30 reps? did you know that in their case "rep" is short for reprobate? you are lucky to have your worries on vacations. I have not had a vacation in 27 years, here in America the government spends so much on others and not enough for ourselves. My fellow Americans pray for the day we can lock and load.........and questions about priviledged people and their vacations in the world wont mean a damn thing anymore Looking at this from the rep's point of view, they were probably not told anything by 18-30 regarding Glasgow airport nor Ibiza airport telling them anything either! So regarding what they should have told your daughter, the rep won't have had anything to tell her. Ideally, if the ibiza airport was going to be shut for a day or 2, the holiday makers should have been taken back to a hotel and kept informed, though i believe ibiza opened before Glasgow did, so a quick divert of the plane to Edinburgh should have been the easiest option. Though the only critique i have of the 18-30 reps is that with them having late nights, there should be somebody available to assist even in an emergency. |
