Is it ok to bring your iPod on an airplane?

Travel Info
im about to go on vacation to mexico, and u know how boring the flight can be! so i was wondering if it's ok to bring an iPod on board? please help!

Travel Tips
Yes it is ok to take it to the airport , in the United States. However, most airlines ask that you kindly turn off ur ipod during take off/landing and during Intercom announcements in the plane. If you have a camera/video iPod it may be confiscated from you during the safety check in, because it is illegal to film/photograph security check points. I have a friend whose camera iPod was inspected after checking into security in Barbados. Have fun! hope i helped =]!
Others
Yes you can. Some airlines, however, request that you don't use it on take-off or landing.
Frequent flyer.
Yes, it's fine. You'll have to turn it off on takeoff and landing, but you can listen to it once you've reached cruising altitude. Just listen for the flight attendant's directions.
Yes u can bring it on the airplane with you. Take your camera as well so you won't miss those memorable things and places.
Done that
