Anybody like Paris' de Gaulle International Airport? |
Travel Info I really dislike it. You have to take 2 busses to get to the connecting flights and no one will help you get to your flight when you leave your arriving flight. Also, there are thieves all over--twice I encountered pickpockets and saw a man steal a purse in a restaurant. I told an airline employee about it and he told me and the lady "Why is that my problem?" The police were indifferent. The cop said "We never cathch them or get things back--go check with lost baggage (in another terminal). I hope it gets better soon. Travel Tips We had a vacation in Paris last Sept. Me too I never expect it was the airport of Paris coz it's untidy and if you have to wait for your boarding you're not allowed to sit inside and you can never see a single chair nor bench where you can sit down. You can see others having stopover connecting flight, they're lying on the corner floor sleeping. I'm always happy to have stopover in Changi,Singapore airport, it's very nice and neat. Others I'm not a big fan either. It's disorganized and a madhouse. It's not the worst airport either though - LAX, Heathrow, and Miami are all pretty bad. Amsterdam is really really good. I find the restrooms to be second class I didn't like it too much either. Catching the RER into the airport was confusing because there is more than 1 terminal, and the tickets don't specify which terminal is the main terminal. Also the area we arrived in didn't have any arrival and departure screens so it took 20 minutes to figure out which gate to go to, staff were helpful but didn't know either. The thing I hated the most though was the 30 minute walk to the Air France terminal. |
