For entertainment in an airplane? |
Travel Info what are some good things to bring in an airplane to keep you occupied? the plane ride is about 4 hours Travel Tips If you're travelling by yourself, bring a portable games console (like a DS or PSP), a CD player or MP3 or ipod, a book and some puzzles. Alternatively, strike up a conversation with whoever you're sitting next to and work out if you're related or something. Passes the time! If you're travelling with somebody, you can do all of the above and play some games with your mate. Like stop the bus, hangman etc. Or you could play my all-time favourite game, which is to say any name (usually people like to start with their own). Then the other person has to think of a name starting with the last letter of the previous name. And so on. So it could go something like this: Jessica Angela Aaron Naomi It can get very competitive towards the end, especially when you run out of names starting with "N" or "A" as a rule. It's brilliant! Others A PSP, a good book, some simple handicraft materials, I dunno, there are many good things to spend your time doing in the plane. A Nintendo DS or PSP should keep you busy for about an hour or so. A novel or comic book or even a magazine should give you something to do for about half an hour. If you're traveling by yourself, bring some paper and pen/pencil and keep drawing until you end up with a picture, or if you're travelling with someone else, you can chat or play a game I created. Each of you just write a word and pass the paper to your friend for them to add a word. For example if you go first, you think of the first word, like Today,. And your friend writes something, and then pass it back to you and so on and so on, don't bother adding commas...etc, edit it at the end and you'll be amazed at your result. If you are on jetblue or others they wil provide you with television (jetblue has directv). books, music player, PSP/Nintendo DS, a journal to write in, puzzle books, and things that keep you busy. if you are flying with a friend you could socialize, or if the flight is late or early you could take a nap! |
