When boarding an airplane, where are you supposed to put your digital camera? |
Travel Info Hi, I plan on bringing my digital camera with me when I board the plane. Where can I put my camera so that it won't get messed up when I'm at the security checkpoint? It'll be on a US Airways flight. How can I keep my camera safe? Travel Tips Yes, just put it in your carry on luggage safe and secure. It will be fine going through all the security X Ray machines. (It's the cameras that have film over 800 speed, like the underwater cameras that get ruined from the X Ray.) Others umm i think you can put it through an x-ray when you get there .. hopefully that wont damage the camera Just put it in your carryon bag in whatever camera case you usually use. The X-rays won't damage it. they will send it through xray, they did mine and my pic's were ok. if u'r worried just ask them switch off and take out the batteries. put it in your bag. or keep it at home and buy a new one when you go to the new place. down load the pictures to your thumb drive and give the camera as a gift to a poor family. yeah...put it in a carry on bag, then just keep it in your lap on the plane. Keep it in its case in your carry on bag, digital cameras can go through xray machines without any problems. Laptops are the only electronic equipment you have to actually take out and show to the screener. |
