Is getting drunk on red wine a good way of getting over you jet lag? |
Travel Info Well, it's what I'm doing, so warn me in time if it's not a good thing! Travel Tips You go, gf! I don't know if getting drunk on red wine helps with jet lag but it sure works for a lot of other stuff! have a great holiday! Others Too late now! Next time try melatonin. alcohol is not a good thing :D Next time fly with our national flag carrier' "Garlic Airlines" They're THE best in the skies for their dirt-cheap fares and unparalleled customer service, Their planes are so fast they can circumnavigate the earth in just under 2 hours! So you will NOT suffer from jet lag! :) The cabin is always reeking with a lovely distinctive garlic smell, Their menu is meticulously prepared to satisfy the most discerning palate with a mouthwatering array of garlic flavored meals and beverages even on economy class! Too good to be true isn't it?!! Now click on the link below to book your flight, you鈥檒l be glad you did! :) www.garlicairlines.com PS. You'll have to fly via GarlicVille the capital city of The Garlic Kingdom! I'm a Garlic Airlines frequent flyer since 1977! Alcohol can help you fall asleep but unfortunately, you wont stay asleep and that is key to getting over jetlag. Also, alcohol can dry you out, as do airplanes so the combination makes you super-thirsty, which isn't ideal for jet lag either. You'll be waking up several times with cotton mouth. Red wine is bad for headaches. Not sure of the specific reason but it's not so easy for the body to process so the combo of that and the time difference mean that your body is fighting on two fronts... Keep yourself hydrated, fed and try to keep yourself on the new schedule as soon as possible. I also like melatonin. That didn't help me fall asleep but kept me down once I got there. ex-int'l F/A 13 years, lived in 5 countries, travelled to almost 60 |
