Travel Info Does anyone know how much it costs to change a flight on American Airlines? Their website doesn't say, and I don't feel like being on hold for hours. Yes, it's a $100 service fee, then they take the value of the original ticket and apply it towards the new ticket. If it's more, you pay up. If it's less, well guess what, the airline keeps it, unless it's significant, then you will get a voucher. Even if the new price of the ticket is $100 LESS, you still must pay the $100 service charge. A good website that will tell you when fares change for an iternary is Farecast.
