Does France have signboard in English on their buildings, train, roads, restaurants?

Travel Info
Is it safe to travel by ourselves if we know only a little French ?

Travel Tips
It's definately safe but you should familiarize yourself with words and signs you consider important before you go. Just look at other peoples photos (you can do a web search or browse flickr) for things like the trainstation, etc. Most signs are easy to figure out by shape, color, etc.

Also to add on the previous post, always start with a "Bonjour" or "Bonsoir" and end with a "Merci" just starting with "Parlez-vous anglais?" and a french hello will show the locals that you're admitting that you don't know their language and that you're making an effort. They will like get annoyed if the first thing you say to them is in English - since that means that you're assuming they will understand you.
