What is the best way to go camping in gascony and what is the best way to get there from UK? |
Travel Info Is it best to take a tent? Travel Tips Depends on where in Gascony you'll be staying, where you're travelling from, and how many of you there are. You can fly to Toulouse (I think that's Easyjet), and Ryanair goes to Pau, Biarritz and Carcassonne. You'll then have to rent a car. Alternatively, take the train or your own transport (ferry). As for camping, I had a great summer north of Biarritz in a two-person tent, but I also experienced floods one year and ended up sleeping in the car. There's plenty of websites listing campings in Gascony, so have a browse and find one you like. |
