I've been several times and it's truly amazing. If at all possible, go when it's not raining. If it's raining, it will be cold and miserable. The other factor, is try to be there when the tide comes in. There are charts at various Mont St Michel sites that give the times for the tides. Not all high tides are created equal; some are much higher than others. This information is included in the tide charts. Try to go when the tide will be the highest. Make sure you arrive plenty of time in advance, and park your car on high ground, which will be marked. |
