In April, my daughter and I plan to stay in a hotel near the Sorbonne in Paris. Is that safe?

Travel Info
This is an opportunity of a lifetime for us. But with the current state of affairs in Paris, and especially in the Latin Quarter, do you think it will be safe?

Travel Tips
You will be absolutely fine...this is one of the most heavily touristed areas of the city...it's the Latin Quarter. The demonstrations you're seeing will not affect your trip....unless there's a transporation strike and even then, YOU'RE IN PARIS - who cares if you can't leave?

More importantly - start studying the culture, art and city maps as well as the metro map. Some people never get to travel to Paris - consider yourself blessed!

Bon Voyage Source(s): Been there many times
