Yes, you can go up the Arc de Triomphe. However, to get there, make sure you take the underground tunnel. Do not try to cross the traffic circle on foot. It is worth the 8 euros or so to go up. You get a great view of Paris, just as good, if not better than the Eiffel Tower (which some consider too high to get a good view of what's below).
The tunnel is located on the Champs Elys茅e. If you're facing the Arc de Triomphe, it's on the right side of the street. |
