What are some good places to visit in Cannes, France? |
Travel Info I am doing a project for my French class. We have to visit at least 7 attractions for a "fake" scrapbook in each city of France that we choose. One of the cities that I chose is Cannes. Does anyone know of any good attractions? Like I said, I need at least 7. Anything would be helpful. Thanks! I also need attractions for Lyon, France. Travel Tips The waterfront is know as "La Croisette". It's like a long paved walk on the waterfront, palaces, restaurants and high-scale shops on one side, the deep blue of the Mediterranean on the other. And hot french and italian girls going topless all over the place on the beach. Then you got "Le Palais des Festivals". It's like a big dome at the west end of "La Croisette" where the film Festival "Le Festival de Cannes" is held every year. It's world famous, very "jet-set" setting. It happens in May. Other than that, the highest part of the city is the rich residential area. It's know as the "California". Downtown is mostly for pedestrians. Narrow streets and lots of shopping. Especially fashion.
