Do you think that it would be dangerous to travel to France at the end of May? |
Travel Info I am going Europe in May, and am wondering with all that is currently going on over there in France if the subways, popular public places, etc. would be safe? Travel Tips Why this fear about France? It's just a country! With people like everyone else! It's safe. Paris is overall a safe city, you can go just about anywhere. Just pay attention to your wallet, but that's an international problem, I guess... And don't listen to what the media say: there are some disturbs near the demonstrations, but that's all. No civil war, no major problems. I've been to most of the demonstrations and it was safe, lots of children running about, babies and all. And then there are strikes... it may happen, it's unpredictable. But strikes aren't violent at all. Just take some confortable shoes and prepare to walk!
