I need the best and cheapest way to travel Europe by Eurail for Spain, France and Holland..? |
Travel Info I am traveling with 2 people. I am 32 years old. My parents are seniors over 60.We are going to see museums and such. I have had trouble booking the Spanish tickets because of lack of info on their metro and train system... Travel Tips where are you from, America? If you live outside the EU you can buy a eurail pass which covers most but not all of the European train companies. You can buy passes for different amounts of time, 15 or 21 days 1 or 2 months. You need to show your passport when you show your ticket. This is to prevent European commuters from buying cheap tickets (boo) Start looking at go to www.eurail.com, I don't know if you can buy this ticket in Travel Agents in America or not but you can always try shopping around. By the way the Spanish Metro (Barcalona, anyway) is not the easiest thing to work out at first, but once you get used to it it really simple. Once you buy a ticket it is valid until you leave the metro system, so one ticket can be valid for one stop, or several train changes. sorry thats www.raileurope.com for American Citizens www.eurail.com is the one i used 'cos im British, its the more expensive one. |
