Travel Info Will the Euro continue to increase its value vs. the Dollar? Going to Europe soon, should I buy Euros now? Travel Tips The Euro trades at $1.27. Meaning for every euro that you need you will have to pay a 27% premium. Technical data on the market indicate that in the short-term (2 weeks or less), the euro may retreat to $1.25.. not a big move. The long-term trend is definitely bullish for the euro. So if your trip is in 6 months, that's gonna suck even more. No matter what, avoid at all costs places like private dealers such as American Express or local neighborhood exchange dealers. They charge you a ridiculous premium on top of the exchange rate. Use ATMs or your card directly to pay. Commissions are way lower. And to the dumbass that said that everything that comes from Europe sucks, I guess it's about time she calls Delta Airlines to go get some fresh air instead of going stale in her **** hole. Have a great trip |
