What's it like living in France?

Travel Tips
It depends on where you are. Paris can be pricey, like many major metropolitan cities. However, if you go to the suburbs, it's more reasonable. I lived in the west of France in the Loire Valley. I found it to be quite reasonable. Parisians have the same attitudes as people in, say, NY. So they, along with all the French, tend to get a bad rap. However, if you go outside the peripherique (which you should!) there's a lot of great, quaint cities with lots of history and charm. The Loire Valley is nice, lots of good wine. I love Nice and I love the alps. Depends a lot on what you are looking for and where you end up. Source(s): http://www.edufrance.fr/en/a-etudier/sej...
