What should I do to prepare for trip to Paris in two weeks?

I am going to Paris with my husband in to weeks. We are staying for a week. ANy suggestions on must see things? Should we do anything in particular to prepare? Can we purchase Metro tickets before and is it worth it? Airport transfers? Thanks... any help would be appreciated!
