I'll be in Europe this summer and am looking for a great place to see and experience the Alps. I've heard about Chamonix, but cannot determine if lifts are open in July to the higher altitudes. Does anyone know about this? Are there any other areas in France that would be good or better to be in the Alps?? I'm looking for something with an fairly easy train ride to Paris. Thanks!!!
Travel Tips
Although not all the lifts will be open there will be some still working in the summer. Another good place to go is Annecy, which is by a lake and you can go up to Megeve. Have a good time. |
