I need some advice on France!!?

Ok, I am trying to find some options for one of my friends right now. He and his wife never got to go on a honey moon, and now they seem to have the opertunity. I have not really been able to find much information about good Hotels, or Things to do. Anyone have any advice?? Obviously, this is gonna be a trip on a budget so please if you know someway to cut corners, any advioce would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
