I'm moving and need advice!? |
Travel Info I'm an American moving to the Bas-Rhin area soon...Any advice?? Travel Tips hey girl!! I'm from strasbourg ... i was born and I grew up in alsace. I don't really understand what you mean by "advice," but I have been several times in the south, and you can tell that the regions AND the people are different. So let's make a few comparisons.. In alsace, you have extremely hot summers (about 35-40 C), and pretty cold winters (-5,-10...C) (just to let you know because the temperatures in the south hardly hit below 5 C) Alsaciens have a different accent. But if you udnerstand the south one, you shouldn't have any trouble) LEt's talk about the food... The typical food is extremely fat, but it is good... (well maybe because I;m used to it=) but yea, you prob want to know about the people. The southerners tend to gossip and talk behing people's back... happens in alsace too... but not so much... The guys are extremely annoying and not well-educated (some of them are very impolite, especially in the "tram,")... I'm not sure I helped you, your question was a lil too "broad" but if you want specific answers, just feel free to email me!! (I am in atlanta right now. left my country for a few years) |
