The main specialty of Alsace is choucroute. I would recommend any of the winstubs (local wine pubs) to try it out. For the full experience, try the Royale with a variety of meat, cooked with riesling. Or dare to try the fish version.
If you don't like cabbage, try a Baeckeoffe which is made out a variety of 3 sorts of meat, potatoes and carrots, cooked for at least 2 hours in the oven. |
