Is Lake Garda (Torbole) in Italy a good holiday destination,Has ne1been? |
Travel Info Its supposed to be good for wind surfing r so iv heard! Travel Tips Hi, we passed through Torbole and it's pretty small, but very near Riva. Both are pretty: Riva is very well located for ferries to different regions on the lake, so you'll be sorted for that. That end of the lake is famous for windsurfing. To be honest, we didn't really warm to either town: we were staying in Malcesine which is really pretty and we preferred there. However, we were there in late September, and whether you enjoy it prob. depends if you're really into w.surfing I'm sure it's way more lively with summer crowds.
