What is the conversion from cubic inches to linear inches? |
Travel Info im going to italy in about 2 and 1/2 weeks. can someone please convert 28 cubic inches in to linear inches please. and also does anyone know what the weather is going to be like the end of the month to the beginning of next month in Rome?also any good places to bargin shop will be helpful. although i am only allowed to bring one suitcase because its a band retreat and we need to chek instruments. Travel Tips Sorry there isn't a direct conversion because they are different things. For something like a suitcase, the linear measure is the length, width, and height added together. The cubic measure is the length, width, and height multiplied together. For example:- 3.5 x 4 x 2 = 28(cubic) 3.5 + 4 + 2 = 9.5(linear) 7 x 2 x 2 = 28(cubic) 7 + 2 + 2 = 11(linear) Examples of baggage limits can be found on http://svc.travelocity.com/info/info_pop... . The weather forecast for Rome is on http://uk.weather.com/weather/local/itxx... Do have a wonderful time. p.s. If the airline are giving you dimensions in inches, remind them that the US Congress voted to go metric in 1875. |
