Travel Info
I'm 23 and have a good job and a some v special friends here. my boyfriend's 36 and his dream has always been to move to majorca. financially we can do it but i'm scared cos i don't speak spanish and don't know how easy it would be to find friends and a job. he speaks some spanish, can work anywhere (property) and has some family there. has anyone else done this, and what advice can they recommend?
Travel Tips
The place rocks! I lived in Spain for quite a few years and made at least one trip to Mallorca every summer (You get a full month of paid vacation in Spain). Language shouldn't be a problem and meeting people even less. On the job front you may find some obstacles. Spain is pretty tight on their labor laws and immigration policies. |
