Travel Tips I think the safest place to live in Atlanta is Decatour, you can look up a map, it's right in Atlanta but is like a different city, the VA hospital is there and there are many nice places and very safe apartments, just check out Decatour, Georgia. Good Luck..鈽? Others That depends where in Decatur. Some parts are bad. It depends on your budget. Roswell, East Marietta, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, buckhead-most parts, are better areas. Go to www.craigslist.org, under housing and apartments to see the costs. Decatur is how it is spelled and not the best area although not bad. Most single women I know really love Vinings, It's safe, close the expressway and the city. It has a good reputation and has become expensive to buy but apartments are nearby and affordabl. Enjoy it's a great city Vinings is safe and cool as said above. I recommend it, lots to do, safe for walking, running, excercise, relatively close to the city. Enjoy the Vinings. It depends on where you will be working, because Atlanta interstates are jammed alllllll day long. You will not go wrong with anything in North Atlanta that is Roswell, Dunwoody, South Marietta, Vinnings, Cumberland area, Sandy Springs, anywhere that is off the 285 north loop. There are lots of malls, resturants, movies theatres, nature trails, the Chattahochee river, and downtown is about a ten-fifteen minute drive. Love Atlanta |
