Travel Info What are the best places togo to in atlanta? Travel Tips Depends on what you like to do. Being a frequent visitor to Atlanta myself, I can say that there's plenty of shopping places like Lenox or Perimeter. Locals have recommended me the Stone Mountain, which is a nice hiking place not very far away from town. Otherwise, there's plenty of Mexican neighbourhoods where you can go dancing Latin style or try some very nice foods. Others The Atlanta Pet Fair grooming competition the first weekend in March. If you like dogs, this will be great fun, especially the creative grooming competition on Sunday afternoon. Fox theater always has some entertainment, Georgia dome always has some sport or concert, Gwinnett County entertainment center, Six flags-Georgia, Buckhead has nice resturants, Mid-town has cool clubs. Mid-town is also the gay center of ATL, though I still love the bars and clubs there even though I'm straight. Virginia Highlands also has some awesome bars/pubs and resturants. There's a zoo around Covington area, there are some stables that have riding ranges. Downtown ATL also has some cool resturants. Some of my fav resturants are Red Snapper, South of France, Joel's and Justins(PDiddy's resturant) and I highly recommend them. Also the ATL has the world's largest aquarium so you might want to check it out, it's cool. The CNN center, there is Shakespearean based theater and resturant downtown. atlanta aquarium coke factory westin plaza cnn center stone mountain ( near atlanta ) six flags ( near atlanta) some resturants arcades shopping malls: mall of georgia premium mall north point mall Google Access Atlanta I would have to say the coca cola factory where they make coke and coke products, stone mountain, and shopping!!! I went there 2 weeks ago for the 6th time and i have loved it everytime i've been there! |
