Travel Tips The Goergia Aquarium is awesome, but that's not in Gwinnett either Downtown Buford in Gwinnett would be a cool place to go too, but it's a bunch of shops and restaurants and stuff along with the old Tannery so you have to be into that kind of stuff and you need good weather. And of course there are always all those malls and movie theaters . . . There's a Jillian's at Discover Mills Mall And you can always look and see if there is something you'd both be interested in going on at the Gwinnett Arena or Civic Center Source(s): Gwinnett County resident Other Travel Tips I've been to Alanta several times. The most romantic place I found (and I thought I wouldn't like it) was Stone Mountain. Take a blanket, a really nice picnic and see the laser show at night. The hillside you sit on is just really relaxing. You don't need to do all those "tourist" things there. Stone Mountain isn't in Gwinnett, just so you know.... Some fun things in Gwinnett: Mall of Georgia, Gwinnett Place, Gwinnett Arena, Lake Lanier. Lifelong Georgia resident. |
