I;ll be driving from Mass to Florida down 95 Summer 2008, what good attractions are there along the way?

Well considering you are going through a few very major cities, there is way more that you could do than I can list. First of all you are going through New York, so obviously there is a trip in and of itself. Stop there and have fun if you like. But considering where you are coming from, New York is probably not all that new or exciting. You are going through Philadelphia. That can be a fun place to kill a day. If you are into history, this is one of the best cities to travel for history. It used to be the nation's capital, check it out.

You are going through Washington DC. That is also a trip in and of itself. Go to the government buildings. Go to the museums, monuments, etc. Lots to see here.

You go through Baltimore. I have never been there, but heard good things. With a very little bit of research you can find something of interest there. You will also go through Richmond, VA. Same as Baltimore, I don't know anything about it, but I am sure you cand find things to do there.

After Richmond, there is not a lot before South Georgia. It is mostly back road North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Once you get to Savannah, Georgia, you should stop there. It is a great city. Lots of old south history. There are old time city blocks with the parks and old homes. Great places to eat, walk, and just relax. Spend a day here for a taste of old fashioned southern comfort. Once you get past Savannah, you are basically in Florida. Depending on where you are going there are places to stop.

Jacksonville is a great city. It is North Florida. If you plan on stopping there it is fun. They have beaches, bars, etc. Have fun. If you head further south, Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach are popular beaches. Ron Jon's Surf Shop is in Cocoa Beach and is regionally famous. It is huge. If you head all the way to Miami, then I am sure you know what is there. Have fun, hope this helped.
